Korea National Council of Consumer Organizations Elects
Jeong Kwang-mo as 17th Chair

 The Korea National Council of Consumer Organizations elected Jeong Kwang-mo, Chairman of the Consumers’ Union of Korea as its 17th chairman at the 33rd general membership assembly held at Seoul YWCA auditorium at 2pm on February 24, 2006.

 Jeong launched the first consumer movements in Korea back in 1960 and served three preceding terms as the chair of the Korea National Council of Consumer Organizations. The Council members unanimously elected Jeong to raise the Korean consumer movement to a desirable position as Korea’s first consumer movement leader.
