Expert Leaders (Instructors) Wanted for 1st YMCA Credit Economics Education Programs

YMCA has been conducteding Credit Economics Education courses for teenagers and university students while implementing the Credit Education Campaign (“Credit is Money?!”) throughout the nation since 2002. To that end, the YMCA is recruiting university graduates interested in consumer education for teenagers and college students in a drive to discover expert leaders (instructors) to lead its credit economics education programs for the credit education campaign. Recruitment details are as follows:

◇ Qualifications and Number Recruited:
     - 15 persons with BA degrees or higher in consumer science or economics
        (MA and PhD holders preferred)
◇ Recruiting Period: Sep. 9 (Fri.) to 21 (Wed.) (Announcement on Sep. 23 (Fri.)
    through website (www.ymca.or.kr) and personal notice
◇ Location of course: Friendship Room, 2nd Floor, Seoul YMCA Main Building
◇ Schedule: Every Thursday from Sep. 29 (Thu.) to Oct. 20 (Thu.) 14:00~18:00
     / (Once a week, four hours a day (total 16 hours)
◇ Fee: Free
◇ Education Details
    - Sep. 29 (Thu.) ? Orientation and Introduction to YMCA Credit Economics
       Education Programs
   - Oct. 6 (Thu.) Becoming an Expert in Credit Economics Education
   - Oct. 13 (Thu.) Effective Lesson Strategy
   - Oct. 20 (Thu.) Trial instruction, Evaluation and Graduation Ceremony
   ※The instructors will work as part of the YMCA membership organization, serving
      as expert instructors on the credit economics education programs through
      on- and off-line activities held after the education courses.
◇ Mission and Activities of the Expert Leaders
   - Work as an instructor on the YMCA credit economics education programs for
      teenagers and college students.
   - Prepare contents, quiz games and class materials for credit economics education
      programs for differing audiences.
   - Develop credit economics education methodology, research, and lesson
      evaluation.
   - Various other activities to promote YMCA credit economics education programs.
   - Instructor fee will be paid for instruction service for credit economics education
      programs.
   - Authoring fee will be paid for preparing credit economics education textbooks.
