The Korea Council of Consumer Organizations (Chairperson Kim Jae-ok) will hold an international symposium for food safety on March 5 in order to learn about consumer movements and national policies for children's food safety that are executed by Korea, England, and China.

The International Symposium for Food Safety will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at the International Meeting Hall on the 20th floor of the Korea Press Foundation (Press Center) under the theme of, “Each Country's Consumer Movements and National Policies to Ensure Children's Food Safety.”

During the international symposium the problems, conditions, and information about Korea, EU, and China's consumer movements and national policies for children's food safety will be shared. Measures for improvement will also be prepared.
