The purpose of Green Consumers Network in Korea is to defend the interest of consumers and to encourage consumer behavior and consumption habits that respect the environment, so as to contribute to the creation of a safer and more humane society for our co-citizens.

The activities of Green Consumers Network in Korea are geared toward defining and diffusing a new environment-friendly lifestyle for consumers so that we can together overcome the environmental plight threatening the earth. The trend toward the globalization of the world economy has been accelerating the deterioration of the environment across the planet. Our movement is founded in the belief that the daily choices and actions of 'green consumers' can result in big changes for our society and help the economy evolve away from an environment-destructive model to a sustainable and environment-friendly one.
